Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shendi Granules (参地颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN), particularly in patients diagnosed with spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome. The formulation is designed to address immune imbalances by modulating the PD-1/PD-L1 signaling pathway and reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic markers, including monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) and transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1). Clinical research indicates that Shendi Granules, when used as an adjunct to conventional therapy, may help reduce proteinuria and slow the progression of renal damage.
