Overview
Shenggui Oral Liquid is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Chongqing Sainuo Biological Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of the common cold (specifically the Qi-deficiency type), chronic rhinitis, and allergic rhinitis. The preparation is based on a combination of classic TCM formulas, notably Guizhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) and Yu Ping Feng San (Jade Windscreen Powder), which are traditionally used to strengthen the body's defensive energy and expel external pathogens. Pharmacologically, the active components from herbs such as *Astragalus membranaceus* and *Cinnamomum cassia* exhibit immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergic properties, helping to reduce nasal mucosal edema and alleviate systemic symptoms like fatigue and aversion to cold. It is an approved pharmaceutical product in China (NMPA approval number Z20025088).
