Shenkangling

Shenkangling is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) decoction primarily developed and studied by The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of renal ischemia-reperfusion injury, particularly in patients exhibiting the Kidney Deficiency and Blood Stasis syndrome. The therapy is often administered to patients undergoing procedures like partial nephrectomy or renal exploration, where blood flow to the kidney is temporarily interrupted. As a TCM formulation, its mechanism involves a multi-component approach to tonify kidney function and improve blood circulation to mitigate oxidative stress and inflammatory damage associated with reperfusion.
