Overview
Shenling Jianpi Yin is a traditional Chinese herbal formula used primarily to strengthen the spleen and stomach, promote digestion, and alleviate symptoms such as abdominal distension, poor appetite, diarrhea, loose stools, fatigue, and sallow complexion. The formula is composed of multiple herbs including ginseng (Ren Shen), poria (Fu Ling), white atractylodes rhizome (Bai Zhu), yam (Shan Yao), lotus seed (Lian Zi), coix seed (Yi Ren), amomum fruit (Sha Ren), lablab bean (Bai Bian Dou), platycodon root (Jie Geng), licorice root (Gan Cao) among others[5][10]. Its mechanism of action in Traditional Chinese Medicine involves tonifying spleen qi and draining dampness to restore digestive function. Modern research suggests it may modulate gastrointestinal function and immune response[6][8][10].
