Overview
Shenlingbaizhu granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation derived from the classic formula Shenling Baizhu San. It is composed of ten herbal ingredients: Ginseng, Poria cocos, Atractylodes macrocephala, Yam, White Lentils, Lotus seeds, Coix seed, Amomum seed, Platycodon grandiflorus, and Licorice. The formulation is primarily used to tonify the spleen and stomach, replenish lung qi, and treat symptoms such as poor appetite, loose stools, shortness of breath, cough, and limb fatigue. It is being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infections in children, particularly those with a TCM pattern of lung-spleen qi deficiency.
