Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shenmaihuatan granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Chinese Medicine. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of stable pneumoconiosis in patients presenting with the TCM syndrome of qi and Yin deficiency accompanied by phlegm-blood stasis obstructing the lung. The granules are used as an adjunct to standard care to enhance lung function, improve exercise tolerance (measured by the 6-minute walk test), and alleviate respiratory symptoms. As a multi-herb preparation, its mechanism involves tonifying qi, nourishing Yin, and clearing phlegm and blood stasis to improve pulmonary health and quality of life.
