Overview
Shenqi Cordyceps Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine. It is an internal agreement formula (院内协定方) used in the treatment of interstitial lung diseases, including Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and Connective Tissue Disease-associated Interstitial Lung Disease (CTD-ILD). The formulation is based on the 'Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue method' (replenishing qi, nourishing yin, and activating blood circulation), a therapeutic principle in TCM. The capsule contains a combination of traditional Chinese medicinal ingredients, notably ginseng, notoginseng, and cordyceps, which are believed to exert their therapeutic effects through various biological pathways.
