Overview
Shenqi Pollen is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Xin Qiao Hospital of the Third Military Medical University (Army Medical University) for the treatment of plateau take-off syndrome (high-altitude de-adaptation syndrome). The formulation typically consists of *Ginseng* (Ren Shen), *Astragalus* (Huang Qi), and bee pollen (often from *Brassica campestris*). It is designed to help the body adapt when returning to low altitudes after a long stay at high altitudes, addressing symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, and insomnia. The drug is administered orally in tablet form and has been evaluated in multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials to assess its efficacy and safety in regulating the body's adaptation mechanisms.
