Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shenqiu elimination oral liquid (also known as Shenqu Xiaoshi Koufuye) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical formulation developed by the Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of infantile anorexia, specifically the type characterized by the TCM pattern of liver-exuberance and spleen-deficiency. The formulation is designed to harmonize the spleen and stomach, promote digestion, and eliminate food stagnation. In clinical research, it has been utilized as a standard control treatment to evaluate the efficacy of non-pharmacological interventions, such as the 'suppressing wood and supporting earth' pediatric massage (Tui Na) technique, in improving appetite and quality of life in children aged 1 to 6 years.
