Shenxianshengmai Oral Liquid

Shenxianshengmai Oral Liquid is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Buchang Pharmaceutical. It is composed of eight specific herbal ingredients: *Panax ginseng*, *Epimedium brevicornu*, *Psoralea corylifolia*, *Lycium barbarum*, *Ephedra intermedia*, *Asarum sieboldii*, *Salvia miltiorrhiza*, and *Whitmania pigra*. The drug is approved in China (CFDA approval number Z20080183) for the treatment of cardiac and cerebral vascular diseases, specifically targeting conditions such as sick sinus syndrome, sinus bradyarrhythmias, and bradycardia. Mechanistically, the formulation works by increasing heart rate and improving sinoatrial node conduction time through the modulation of the PKC/NOX-2 signaling pathway, regulation of cardiac ion channels and ATPases, and reduction of oxidative stress. It has also demonstrated protective effects against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
