Overview

This autologous dendritic cell-based vaccine is an investigational immunotherapy developed by the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute for the treatment of prostate cancer. The vaccine is produced by isolating a patient's own dendritic cells and loading them with multiple tumor-associated antigens, derived from either tumor lysates or synthetic peptides. These matured and activated dendritic cells are then administered back to the patient via subcutaneous injection to present these antigens to T cells, thereby stimulating a targeted anti-tumor immune response and establishing long-term immunological memory against prostate cancer cells. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to assess safety and efficacy in patients with prostate cancer.
