Shenzhen trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (SP Shz TIV) is an inactivated, split-virion influenza vaccine developed for the prevention of seasonal influenza. It contains antigens from three different strains of the influenza virus, as recommended by health authorities for a given flu season. The vaccine is administered intramuscularly and works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against the included viral strains, thereby providing protection against infection.
