Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shexiang Zhuifeng Zhitong plaster is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) medicated plaster patch used topically for the temporary relief of joint pain, muscle aches, rheumatic pain, and minor injuries such as sprains and bruises. Developed and manufactured by Chongqing Hilan Pharmaceutical (under the brand Wushufang), the plaster is formulated with active ingredients including camphor, menthol, methyl salicylate, and a proprietary herbal mixture containing musk extract (Shexiang Zhuifeng Zhitong fluid extract), belladonna fluid extract, and rue extract. It works by promoting local blood circulation, dispelling wind-dampness, and relieving pain and swelling at the site of application.
