Overview

Shi Quan Da Bu Tang is a traditional East Asian herbal formula composed of ten medicinal herbs: *Panax ginseng*, *Atractylodes macrocephala*, *Poria cocos*, *Glycyrrhiza uralensis*, *Angelica sinensis*, *Ligusticum chuanxiong*, *Paeonia lactiflora*, *Rehmannia glutinosa*, *Astragalus propinquus*, and *Cinnamomum cassia*. It is traditionally used to tonify "Qi" and "Blood" and is frequently employed in integrative oncology to manage chemotherapy-induced side effects such as fatigue, anorexia, and anemia. It is also studied for cold hypersensitivity in the hands and feet. The formula is believed to exert immunomodulatory, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects by modulating cytokine production and enhancing the activity of immune cells such as natural killer (NK) cells and macrophages.
