Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shidoqing is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation primarily developed and manufactured by Guangzhou Nuojin Pharmaceutical. It is typically administered as an oral tablet. The formulation is designed to nourish blood, moisturize dryness, clear heat, and resolve dampness, according to TCM principles. It is widely used in China for the treatment of skin conditions characterized by itching, such as pruritus, eczema, and urticaria, particularly those attributed to damp-heat or blood deficiency in TCM diagnosis. As a multi-herb formulation, it does not have a single molecular target but works through the synergistic effects of its botanical components, which often include *Radix Rehmanniae*, *Radix Angelicae Sinensis*, and *Radix Sophorae Flavescentis*.
