Shinbuto extract granules

Shinbuto (also known as Shimbuto or True Warrior Decoction) is a traditional Japanese Kampo medicine manufactured by Sanwa Shoyaku as an oral extract granule formulation. It is a multi-herb formula composed of Poria (bukuryo), processed Aconite (bushi), processed ginger rhizome (kankyo), Peony root (shakuyaku), and Atractylodes (sojutsu). Clinically, it is used to treat conditions associated with coldness (hiesho) and fluid retention (suitai), including cold-induced diarrhea, abdominal pain, and edema. As a traditional herbal medicine, its mechanism of action involves the synergistic effects of its constituent herbs rather than a single molecular target, though processed Aconite is a key active component for warming the body.
