Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shingrix + Arexvy is a co-administration regimen of two vaccines developed by GSK. Shingrix is a recombinant subunit vaccine containing varicella-zoster virus glycoprotein E and the AS01B adjuvant, approved for the prevention of shingles. Arexvy is a recombinant subunit vaccine containing the RSV pre-fusion F protein (RSVPreF3) and the AS01E adjuvant, approved for the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. The co-administration of these two vaccines is being studied in Phase 3 clinical trials (such as NCT05966090) to evaluate safety and immunogenicity in adults aged 50 and older, aiming to streamline adult immunization schedules and reduce healthcare visits.
