Overview

ShotCAR-CD19 is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy being developed by Hauul Bio for the treatment of various B-cell malignancies and blood cancers. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary ShotCAR platform to engineer immune cells that specifically target the CD19 antigen, a protein highly expressed on the surface of B-cell lineage cells. ShotCAR-CD19 is being investigated for a broad range of indications, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Upon binding to CD19-positive cancer cells, the engineered cells are activated to induce targeted cell lysis.
