Overview

ShotCAR-GRP94 is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy being developed by Hauul Bio for the treatment of various solid tumors. The therapy utilizes Hauul Bio's proprietary ShotCAR platform to engineer immune cells that specifically target Glucose-Regulated Protein 94 (GRP94), also known as Endoplasmin. GRP94 is a molecular chaperone that is frequently overexpressed on the surface of malignant cells in several cancers, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and colorectal cancer (CRC), while maintaining limited expression in normal tissues. By targeting GRP94, ShotCAR-GRP94 aims to selectively eliminate tumor cells through immune-mediated lysis while minimizing off-target toxicity.
