Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shouwu Yanshou Pian is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) oral tablet developed and manufactured by Guizhou Shengshi Longfang Pharmaceutical. The formulation is primarily composed of prepared *Polygonum multiflorum* (He Shou Wu) dry extract, supplemented with excipients such as starch and sucrose. According to TCM principles, the medicine is designed to tonify the liver and kidney while nourishing essence and blood. It is clinically indicated for conditions associated with liver-kidney deficiency and insufficient essence-blood, including dizziness, tinnitus, forgetfulness, premature graying of hair, and weakness in the lower back and knees. As a traditional herbal preparation, it functions through the synergistic effects of multiple phytochemical constituents rather than a single molecular target and is approved by the NMPA for general health maintenance and age-related tonic use.
