SHR-1702 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM-3, also known as HAVCR2). By binding to TIM-3 expressed on certain T-cells, including tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, SHR-1702 blocks the inhibitory signaling mediated by TIM-3. This blockade is intended to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by promoting T-cell activation and proliferation. The drug has been investigated for its potential in treating hematological malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), as well as solid tumors. Its mechanisms include antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity, inhibition of HAVCR2 protein (TIM-3), and stimulation of T lymphocytes[2][3][4].
