Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SHR-1901 is a monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1; PDCD1; CD279), a negative immunoregulatory receptor expressed on human cells. By binding to PD-1, SHR-1901 acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, potentially enhancing antitumor immune responses and exhibiting antineoplastic activity. It is being developed for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials. The drug is under development by Suzhou Suncadia Biopharmaceuticals.
