Overview

SHR-1918 is a human monoclonal antibody that targets and inhibits angiopoietin-like protein 3 (ANGPTL3). By inhibiting ANGPTL3, SHR-1918 reduces serum levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides (TG), making it a promising therapy for patients with hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, and related lipid disorders. Clinical studies have shown that SHR-1918 can reduce LDL-C by 22% to 30% and TG by 52% to 63%, particularly in patients at moderate or higher risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease who have not achieved optimal lipid control with standard therapies. The drug is administered via subcutaneous injection. It is being developed primarily by Beijing Suncadia Pharmaceuticals[1][4][6].
