Overview

SHR-2010 is a monoclonal antibody drug candidate developed by Guangdong Hengrui Pharmaceutical for the treatment of IgA nephropathy. It acts as an inhibitor of MASP2 protein, a key enzyme in the lectin pathway of complement activation, which is implicated in the pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy. The drug is administered intravenously or subcutaneously and has reached Phase 2 clinical trials for primary IgA nephropathy (glomerulonephritis). As of now, it has not received regulatory approval in any country[1][2][3][4].
