Overview

SHR-4685 is a bispecific antibody targeting Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and CD47, currently under development by Suzhou Suncadia Biopharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals. The molecule is designed to simultaneously inhibit two critical immune evasion pathways: the PD-1/PD-L1 axis, which suppresses T-cell activation, and the CD47/SIRPα axis, which provides a "don't eat me" signal to macrophages. By co-targeting these pathways, SHR-4685 aims to synergistically enhance both adaptive and innate immune responses against cancer cells. It is being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for patients with advanced solid tumors to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile.
