Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SHR-7590 is a monoclonal antibody targeting Tumor Necrosis Factor-like Ligand 1A (TL1A), currently under development by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. TL1A is a member of the TNF superfamily (TNFSF15) that mediates inflammatory responses by binding to the Death Receptor 3 (DR3) and Decoy Receptor 3 (DcR3). By inhibiting TL1A, SHR-7590 aims to reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and modulate the fibrotic pathways associated with inflammatory bowel disease. It is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics via subcutaneous and intravenous administration in both healthy participants and patients with ulcerative colitis.
