SHR-9839 + pemetrexed + carboplatin

SHR-9839 is a bispecific antibody targeting both the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and c-Met (hepatocyte growth factor receptor), functioning as an EGFR antagonist and c-Met inhibitor. It is being developed by Shanghai Hengrui Pharmaceutical for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, advanced malignant solid neoplasms, and HER2-positive colorectal cancer. The drug is currently in phase I/II clinical trials, including studies evaluating its combination with other anti-tumor therapies such as pemetrexed and carboplatin[1][2][3][5]. Pemetrexed is an antifolate chemotherapy agent that inhibits multiple folate-dependent enzymes involved in nucleotide synthesis, while carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that causes DNA crosslinking leading to apoptosis. The combination aims to leverage complementary mechanisms for enhanced anti-tumor efficacy.
