SHR3680 is a novel, orally administered non-steroidal antiandrogen developed for the treatment of prostate cancer, particularly metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). It acts by inhibiting androgen receptor signaling, thereby blocking the growth-promoting effects of androgens in prostate cancer cells. Clinical studies have shown that SHR3680 is well tolerated and demonstrates promising antitumor activity in patients with mCRPC[3][7]. Docetaxel is a taxoid antineoplastic agent used as chemotherapy for various cancers including breast, lung, prostate, stomach, and head/neck cancers. It works by promoting microtubule assembly and stabilizing them against depolymerization, which disrupts cell division and leads to apoptosis of rapidly dividing tumor cells[1][4][5]. The combination of SHR3680 with docetaxel may be investigated or used in clinical trials for advanced or metastatic prostate cancer.
