shTTC23 is a short hairpin RNA (shRNA) construct designed to silence the expression of the Tetratricopeptide Repeat Domain 23 (TTC23) gene. Identified through network pharmacology and functional phenotyping, TTC23 has been nominated as a biomarker-informed target in the repurposing of chlorpromazine for glioblastoma (GBM). By utilizing RNA interference (RNAi) to knockdown TTC23, shTTC23 inhibits tumor cell viability and modulates tumor immunity in high-grade gliomas. While primarily used as a research tool for target validation and functional phenotyping in preclinical models, shTTC23 represents a specific modality for inhibiting TTC23-mediated signaling pathways in lethal brain tumors.
