Shu Nao Xin Dripping Pill

Shu Nao Xin Dripping Pill (also known as Shunaoxin Dripping Pill or Shu Nao Xin Di Wan) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Tianjin Pharmaceutical Da Ren Tang Group (formerly Tianjin Zhongxin Pharmaceutical Group). It is formulated as a solid dispersion dripping pill containing extracts from two primary herbal ingredients: *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuanxiong) and *Angelica sinensis* (Danggui). The preparation is clinically approved in China (since 2005) for the treatment of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases, particularly migraine, dizziness, blurred vision, amnesia, and insomnia caused by blood deficiency and blood stasis. Pharmacologically, Shu Nao Xin Dripping Pill regulates qi, promotes blood circulation, removes blood stasis, and exerts neuroprotective and anti-platelet aggregation effects. It has been shown to dilate cerebral blood vessels, increase cerebral blood flow, and inhibit ferroptosis, potentially through the activation of the AKT/Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway.
