Shuang Hua Bai He Pian is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily indicated for the treatment of recurrent aphthous stomatitis (oral ulcers) and other inflammatory conditions of the oral cavity. It is classified as a heat-clearing and detoxifying (Qing Re Jie Du) agent in TCM. The formulation typically consists of extracts from *Lonicera japonica* (Honeysuckle), *Lilium brownii* (Lily bulb), *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Baikal skullcap), and *Rehmannia glutinosa*. These botanical components provide anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and mucosal-healing properties. It is widely used in China to reduce the frequency and severity of oral ulcers and to alleviate associated symptoms such as pain and swelling.
