Shuangdong (also known as Shuangdong Granules) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Guizhou Remote Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (uLUTI). In TCM terminology, it is indicated for the "Damp-heat in the lower burner" syndrome, aiming to clear heat, resolve dampness, and alleviate symptoms such as urinary frequency, urgency, and dysuria. The formulation has advanced to Phase 3 clinical trials in China, where it is being evaluated for its efficacy and safety compared to standard treatments.
