Overview
Shuanghua Baihe is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical formulation, primarily available as the Shuanghua Baihe Tablet (双花百合片), developed and manufactured by Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group. The formulation is composed of several herbal extracts, most notably *Lonicera japonica* (Honeysuckle) and *Lilium* (Lily), which are traditionally used to clear heat and nourish yin. Clinically, it is approved in China for the treatment of recurrent aphthous ulcers (RAU) and has been investigated in clinical trials for the prevention and treatment of oral mucositis in patients undergoing chemoradiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The drug exerts its therapeutic effects through anti-inflammatory and mucosal-protective mechanisms characteristic of its botanical components.
