Overview
Shuangshen Sanjie Formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal composition developed by Guang'anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is specifically designed for the treatment and prevention of postoperative recurrence in patients with glioblastoma. The formula follows TCM principles aimed at "strengthening the body's resistance" (Fuzheng) and "dissipating masses" (Sanjie). It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials as an adjuvant therapy to standard postoperative treatments, such as radiotherapy and temozolomide, with the goal of extending disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) while improving the quality of life for patients with high-grade gliomas.
