Overview
Shuangshi Tonglin Jiaonang (also known as Shuangshi Tonglin Capsule or SSTL) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) capsule developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Momentum Pharmaceutical. Formulated based on the classic Qing Dynasty prescription 'Chengshi Bixie Fenqing Decoction' (with modifications), it is composed of ten traditional Chinese medicinal and mineral ingredients, including *Dioscorea hypoglauca*, *Phellodendron amurense*, *Patrinia scabiosifolia*, *Strobilanthes cusia*, talcum, *Plantago asiatica*, *Acorus tatarinowii*, *Poria cocos*, *Atractylodes lancea*, and *Salvia miltiorrhiza*. It is approved in China for the treatment of chronic prostatitis associated with accumulated damp-heat. Research indicates that Shuangshi Tonglin Jiaonang exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antioxidant effects, potentially by modulating the SIRT-1/AMPK, MAPK, and ROS/NLRP3 signaling pathways.
