Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shubaile (101BHG-D01) is a selective M3 muscarinic receptor antagonist developed as an intranasal spray for the treatment of chronic rhinitis. Developed by Beijing Shuobai Pharmaceutical Technology, the drug is designed to alleviate symptoms such as rhinorrhea and nasal congestion by blocking acetylcholine-mediated glandular secretion and vasodilation in the nasal passages. By specifically targeting the M3 receptor subtype, Shubaile aims to provide a more targeted therapeutic effect with a potentially improved safety profile compared to non-selective anticholinergic agents. It has been evaluated in Phase Ib/IIa clinical trials in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in adult patients with chronic rhinitis.
