Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Shuertong** is an investigational oral traditional Chinese medicine analgesic supplied as a dispersible tablet. It is a botanical mixture prepared from purified extracts of *Corydalis decumbens* rhizome and tree peony bark, developed by Kunming Bondir Pharmaceutical Research for pain associated with the traditional Chinese medicine pattern of qi stagnation and blood stasis. Its molecular targets and pharmacologic mechanism have not been publicly established. A completed Phase 1 single-ascending-dose safety study in healthy volunteers was registered as CTR20131965; a Chinese patent describes the product as an analgesic botanical medicine.
