Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shufeng Zhitong Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation currently in Phase III clinical development for the preventive treatment of migraine. Developed by Beijing Boshili Pharmaceutical Technology, the drug is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the "cold coagulation and blood stasis with wind" syndrome (寒凝血瘀证). The capsule contains a blend of herbal extracts designed to dispel wind, dissipate cold, and resolve blood stasis, thereby reducing the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. It is being evaluated in a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial (e.g., CTR20254404) to establish its efficacy and safety as a prophylactic therapy.
