Shugan Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product developed by Kunming Chinese Medicine Factory Co., Ltd. It is formulated to "soothe the liver and regulate qi," addressing symptoms associated with liver depression and qi stagnation. Its primary clinical indication is breast hyperplasia (fibrocystic breast changes), where it is used to alleviate breast pain and reduce the size of nodules. The granules are a multi-herb combination including extracts from *Bupleurum chinense*, *Paeonia lactiflora*, and *Cyperus rotundus*. It has been evaluated in Phase II clinical trials in China for breast hyperplasia and has also been investigated for its efficacy in treating perimenopausal syndrome as part of syndrome-differentiated herbal therapy.
