It is presented as black-brown honeyed pills taken orally with warm water or ginger soup. The formulation contains multiple herbal ingredients including *Acanthopanax gracilistylus* (Wu Jia Pi), *Clematis chinensis* (Wei Ling Xian), *Notopterygium incisum* (Qiang Huo), *Siegesbeckia orientalis* (Xi Xian Cao), *Arisaema cum bile* (Dan Nan Xing), *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuan Xiong), *Angelica pubescens* (Du Huo), *Cinnamomum cassia* (Gui Zhi), *Chaenomeles speciosa* (Mu Gua), *Angelica sinensis* (Dang Gui), *Achyranthes bidentata* (Niu Xi), and *Kadsura coccinea* (Di Feng Pi). The medicine's therapeutic functions are to expel wind and dampness, and to relax muscles and activate collaterals (Shu Jin Huo Luo).
