Shunqi Buxin Shiyiwei Pills is a traditional Mongolian medicine (TMM) formulation developed by the Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medicine Hospital for the treatment of primary insomnia, specifically the "Hei-type" (wind-type) insomnia defined in Mongolian medical theory. The formulation consists of eleven ingredients and is designed to regulate "Qi" and nourish the heart. In clinical trials, it is being evaluated against zopiclone to assess its efficacy in improving sleep quality, as measured by actigraphy and sleep scales, as well as its impact on morning serum cortisol levels and safety profiles.
