SI-001

SI-001 is a novel small molecule inhibitor of the Stimulator of Interferon Genes (STING) protein, currently in preclinical development by StingInn LLC. It is designed to target chronic innate immune signaling associated with autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases. By inhibiting STING activation and its downstream signaling pathways, SI-001 aims to provide a therapeutic benefit for conditions characterized by overactive cGAS-STING signaling, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), Sjogren's syndrome, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Additionally, it is being evaluated for rare genetic interferonopathies such as STING-associated vasculopathy with onset in infancy (SAVI) and Aicardi-Goutieres Syndrome. The compound has received STTR funding for its preclinical development, with Phase 1 clinical trials planned.
