Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SI-B036 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to target both the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and B7-H3 (CD276). Developed by Sichuan Baili Pharmaceutical and its subsidiary SystImmune, the drug is intended for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. EGFR is a well-known oncogenic driver in various cancers, while B7-H3 is an immune checkpoint protein that is frequently overexpressed in tumor tissues and associated with poor prognosis and immune evasion. By simultaneously binding to these two targets, SI-B036 aims to inhibit tumor growth signaling and potentially enhance anti-tumor immune responses or improve tumor-specific localization. It is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy.
