Drug intelligence / Profile preview
si-FOLR1 is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to specifically target and inhibit the expression of Folate Receptor 1 (FOLR1). In colon cancer cells, the inhibition of FOLR1 by si-FOLR1 has been shown to decrease cell viability, promote sensitivity to oxaliplatin (L-OHP), and stimulate cell apoptosis. This action also leads to a decrease in the levels of ATP Binding Cassette Subfamily G Member 2 (ABCG2) and p-glycoprotein (p-gp).
