si-LRP11#2 is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) sequence specifically designed to target and knockdown the expression of the Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 11 (LRP11) gene. LRP11 is a member of the LDL receptor family that has been identified as a potential driver of tumor progression and immune suppression in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). By utilizing the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, si-LRP11#2 induces the sequence-specific degradation of LRP11 mRNA, thereby reducing the levels of the LRP11 protein. In preclinical studies, this siRNA is used to evaluate the functional consequences of LRP11 inhibition on cancer cell phenotypes, such as proliferation and migration, and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target in non-small cell lung cancer.
