SI-P75

SI-P75 is a small molecule antagonist of the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), also known as the low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor (NGFR). Developed by Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical, the compound is designed to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and potentially neuropathic pain. The p75NTR receptor is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily and plays a critical role in mediating neuronal apoptosis, axonal degeneration, and synaptic dysfunction in response to pro-neurotrophins. By selectively blocking p75NTR signaling, SI-P75 aims to provide neuroprotective effects and promote neuronal survival.
