Overview

Si-Shun-Tang (四顺汤) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula traditionally used to treat conditions such as lung carbuncle (肺痈吐脓), vexation and heat in the five centers (五心烦热), and oppressive cough (壅闷咳嗽). It is composed of four main herbs: Fritillaria (贝母), Platycodon (桔梗), Aster (紫菀), and Licorice (甘草). It is prepared by coarsely crushing and sifting the four herbs, then decocting them in water.
