SiB-2111 is an experimental in vivo monocyte immunotherapy being developed by Signadori Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. It is part of a platform designed to engineer monocytes directly within the patient's body to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. SiB-2111 specifically targets the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1 (p21, encoded by the CDKN1A gene) and an additional undisclosed molecular target (Target 2). By modulating these pathways, the therapy aims to reprogram the myeloid compartment of the tumor microenvironment from a pro-tumorigenic to an anti-tumorigenic state. As of early 2024, SiB-2111 is in the discovery phase of development.
