Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIBP-A13 is a HER3-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Shanghai Institute of Biological Products, a subsidiary of Sinopharm. It is designed to target and modulate the activity of the receptor tyrosine-protein kinase erbB-3 (HER3/ERBB3), which plays a role in tumor growth and progression. The drug consists of an antibody specific for HER3 linked to a cytotoxic small molecule payload, enabling targeted delivery of chemotherapy directly to cancer cells expressing HER3. SIBP-A13 is currently being investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors. This represents the first innovative ADC independently developed by China National Biotechnology Shanghai Institute of Biological Products.
