Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sidazumab (ZW106-2) is a humanized monoclonal antibody agonist targeting 4-1BB (CD137), a co-stimulatory member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily. Developed by Shandong Taize Huikang Biopharmaceutical, sidazumab is designed to enhance anti-tumor immunity by binding to 4-1BB expressed on activated T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, thereby promoting their proliferation, survival, and effector functions. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development in China for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including melanoma and urothelial carcinoma, particularly in patients who have progressed on or are intolerant to standard therapies.
